If you’re looking for a basic fit to get riding better, this option is for you.
My fitting methods will off-load most of your function on the bike from your conscious mind to your central nervous system so that you can more easily engage your posterior chain (glutes and hamstrings) automatically, even after fatigue sets in. Also, I will ask that you ride as a function of hip extension and not knee extension/flexion. Because of these fundamental changes, your body and mind will need time to settle into your new position and muscle firing patterns.
Here’s what to expect during your session:
Interview and discovery of client’s history and goals
Discussion of bike fit modalities to be used and scientific bases behind them
Pre-fit observation of client on bike while on indoor trainer
Discuss optimal pedaling technique for desired results on the bike
Make necessary iterative adjustment to cleats, pedal spacing, saddle position/angle, stem, and handlebar to help you be comfortable, powerful, and efficient in all hand positions
Discuss crank length if above isn’t attained without compromising movement of knees, anterior pelvic tilt and pelvic stability
Observe client riding outside and make further adjustments
Mobile fits are offered for Denver, Boulder and adjoining areas only, and include one (1) additional visit to finalize fit, especially if crank length needs to be changed and the needed crankset (and bottom bracket, if needed) isn’t on hand.
Shims, and wedges included, but insoles, cleat adaptors and pedal extensions will cost extra if needed. Additional bikes will incur a $150 fee each. Fitting one set of shoes is included, and additional shoes will cost $50 each.
Additional labor charges will apply for replacement of drop handlebars ($50), cranksets ($60) and bottom brackets ($70, includes removal and installation of crankset).
Deposits will be applied towards purchase of products and services but are non-refundable unless your appointment is cancelled at least 24 hours before your scheduled time.
Availability is current and automatically updated on the scheduler.
